Everywhere Marv Nelson goes, another building wired by Seattle-area electrical contractor, Nelson Electric Inc. comes into view. Nelson, the company’s CEO, never tires of pointing them out.

“When we’re driving around town, it drives my wife nuts when I say, ‘We did that one, we did that one, we did that one,’ ” Nelson said.

Nelson Electric isn’t the largest electrical contractor in Seattle, but after 64 years in business, it can seem that way because of the lasting relationships the company maintains with customers who wouldn’t dream of hiring anyone else to design, install and service their electrical, lighting and network cabling systems.
